1. Overview
PathwayPanda ("we", "our", or "us") operates a mobile learning app for technical interview preparation. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — your email, display name, and profile photo provided by Google Sign-In or email signup.
- Learning data — selected pathway, quiz attempts and scores, checklist progress, and active days.
- Device data — an FCM push token to deliver notifications, plus crash and performance traces (via Firebase Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring).
- Analytics — anonymized usage events (screen views, button taps) via Firebase Analytics. No advertising identifiers are collected.
3. How we use your information
- To deliver and personalize the learning experience.
- To sync your progress across your devices.
- To send optional push notifications (e.g. streak reminders).
- To diagnose crashes and improve performance.
- To understand which features are used and improve the product.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with the processors required to run the service: Google Firebase (authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics, Messaging) and Apple/Google for app delivery and push notifications.
5. Data security
Your learning data is stored in your private Firestore document and protected by security rules that allow only you to read or write it. We additionally use Firebase App Check to verify that requests come from genuine app installs.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@pathwaypanda.com.
7. Children
PathwayPanda is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app.
